New Two-Track Release: Rescue and Solace

Two new Elpis album B-side tracks now released for your listening pleasure!
Framed around the idea of persevering towards a vision or a hope when fulfilment is not in sight, Rescue is a gentle call to arms. It builds and swells with layered synth pads, drums and vocals towards the benedictory blessing it ends on, sung in Irish Gaelic: ‘go n-éirí an bóthar leat’ – ‘may the road rise to meet you’.
Accompanying Rescue is Solace, written to be a soft, dreamlike lullaby, or ode to peace. It is accented by haunting piano flourishes, lush reverbed vocal delays and a hypnotic melody: an ethereal three-and-a-half-minute escape.
